A Melbourne-born burger and frozen yoghurt chain will soon call Perth home, with Yo My Goodness opening its first WA venue at Morley Galleria on November 19.
Kind of like if Yo-Chi and Betty’s Burgers had a baby, YOMG, or “yo-em-gee”, will serve signature burgers and colourful buns, loaded fries, shakes, and offer a self-serve frozen yoghurt kiosk boasting nine flavours and more than 35 toppings.
With a capacity of 150, YOMG’s first local store will span 550sqm at the developing Galleria site, which is currently undergoing major renovations.
Bass and copper finishes are said to bring out YOMG’s fun and vibrant personality, along with natural terracotta tiles, purple LED lighting, and custom greenery.

CEO Nishad Alani is hoping WA embraces the interstate brand, which currently operates 17 stores across Victoria and Queensland.
“Western Australia is a really exciting next step for us, and we are extremely excited to enter the Western Australian market, bringing a unique experience to our customers,” Mr Alani said.
“Yo My Goodness is centred around affordable indulgence, combining innovative, high-quality food options. We’re looking forward to becoming part of the Morley Galleria community and our stores providing a fun, relaxing and vibrant experience.”

Locals will also be treated to the first taste of an in-demand, yet-to-be-revealed flavour before it is rolled out nationally.
Looking ahead, YOMG plans to open its next WA location at Ellenbrook Central, with additional stores to follow in 2027.

Roughly 150 jobs are expected to be filled by the chain’s first Perth locations.
Morley Galleria plans to unveil its revamped offering later this year, which will also feature Soul Origin, Spice Town, Yo Hot Pot, and Zeus Street Greek among its long list of hospitality additions.
“We’re busy building the new chapter for Galleria, bringing together the best of shopping, dining and entertainment for Perth’s northeast,” the centre’s website reads.
