Samsung's Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro batteries have cleared another certification ahead of the series' launch, with photos showing what the batteries will look like.
The batteries for the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra and Galaxy S27 Pro have passed Safety Korea certification. The listings cover model numbers EB-BS958DBY and EB-BS957CBY under certification numbers YU10899-26034 and YU10899-26036. Zhuhai CosMX Power Jinwan Subsidiary in China manufactures both batteries.
Unfortunately, the capacities are not legible in the photos, but China's 3C certification has already given us a clue, with the batteries having rated capacities of 5,534 mAh for the S27 Ultra and 5,087 mAh for the S27 Pro. These figures likely correspond to typical ratings of about 5,700 mAh and 5,200 mAh, a major upgrade from the 5,000 mAh battery in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The same 3C filing lists 60 W wired charging for both models, unchanged from the S26 Ultra.
The certified units are pre-production samples, and final retail batteries may differ. Samsung has not announced pricing or availability for the Galaxy S27 series.

Instead of sports, I spent my school years buried in researching about everything tech, looking into chips and specs instead of doing whatever normal kids did. I am now writing for NotebookCheck, hoping that research finally reaches more people than just me and a text file.
