Towns is a long-time fan of Dove products, noting his sister introduced him to the deodorant when he was young, so when the opportunity to partner with Dove Men+Care presented itself, it was a natural fit. Of the Plant-Powered Body Wash line that he’s leading the campaign for, this bourbon-and-vanilla scented option is his favorite. Towns is a bourbon drinker, and his wife loves the smell of vanilla, so it’s the perfect fragrance pairing for him.
On game days, the 7-footer says that he showers three or four times throughout the day, so using something soothing in there helps:. “That moment in the shower is especially important because I don't know where the madness the rest of the day has [in store] for me, but I know in that moment, that’s my moment,” he says.

When Towns was in Minnesota, his coach Ryan Saunders gifted the entire team a copy of this book. He’s read it three times since, discovering new takeaways every time he revisits it. “I'm such a different person than I was the first time I read the book.”
How does the book land now that he’s helped the Knicks win their first title in 53 years? He’s learned that it’s not about the rings, but the friends you made along the way—or something like that. “It's very crazy how far you go to chase something and realize that the journey was actually the reward the whole time.”
