This Acer Nitro 27-inch WQHD monitor drops to just $135, and it's a steal for gamers

Refresh rates have quickly moved from enthusiast territory to the mainstream. If you've been holding out for a display that can keep up with modern frame rates without blowing your budget, the timing is finally right. This Acer Nitro 27" WQHD monitor is now available with a significant discount, making it a compelling way to upgrade your desk setup.

Whether you're pushing through fast-paced shooters or managing a workstation, this monitor delivers the speed and clarity you need without the usual premium markup. Right now, it's sitting at a major low at just $135 at Walmart, which makes it one of the easiest upgrades you can make this year.

What's great about the Acer Nitro 27" WQHD monitor?

At its core, this is a 27-inch IPS panel that delivers a crisp 2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution. The real draw is the up to 200Hz refresh rate paired with a 0.5ms gray-to-gray response time. You're getting steady frame pacing under sustained load, meaning no surprise throttling during intense FPS matches.

AMD FreeSync Premium technology eliminates screen tearing, so your visuals stay locked to your GPU's output. Color accuracy is another strong point. The panel covers up to 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, translating to vibrant visuals for shooters and media. It supports HDR10 and carries VESA HDR400 certification.

Connectivity is handled cleanly with two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 input. Unlike many monitors in this bracket that skimp on ergonomics, the Nitro comes with a fully adjustable stand offering tilt, height, swivel, and pivot adjustments. The zero-frame bezel keeps visual clutter to a minimum for multi-panel setups.

For buyers wanting predictable performance without the flagship price tag, this is a solid choice. It avoids the long-term reliability complaints often found in cheaper alternatives, and the included essentials cover your standard setup needs right out of the box.
