While Bitcoin’s price was sliding, institutional money was moving in the opposite direction. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $526.6 million in net inflows on October 19, the largest single-day total since September 22, according to tracking data. Bitcoin had softened roughly 2% over the prior week, with trading hovering near or below the $81,500 mark.
One fund did the heavy lifting
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, known as IBIT, pulled in $665.2 million on its own, marking its largest single-day inflow since October 7, 2025. That figure is larger than the total net inflow for the day precisely because other funds were bleeding. Fidelity’s FBTC shed $83.6 million in net flows, while Grayscale’s GBTC posted outflows of $54.9 million. Every other Bitcoin ETF in the market recorded zero net flows on the same day.
A rough October in context
Despite the strong single-day number, Bitcoin ETFs remained down approximately $90.5 million month-to-date for October as of the 19th. Total assets across all Bitcoin ETFs stand at roughly $105.46 billion, representing approximately 6.4% of Bitcoin’s market capitalization. Since launch in January 2024, Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated more than $57.4 billion in cumulative net inflows.
Ether ETFs posted outflows of $103.3 million on October 19, extending a losing streak to four consecutive days of net withdrawals.
