Eagles coach Nick Sirianni repeatedly declined to discuss quarterback Jalen Hurts’ health today, a day after the Eagles announced that Hurts will miss Sunday’s game because of a blood clot.
Reporters asked Sirianni several times today about Hurts’ health and the treatment the Eagles are getting him, and Sirianni repeatedly said he wouldn’t go into it.
“I’m not gonna get too much into that,” Sirianni said. “I know there’s a great deal of interest in Jalen’s health, but I’m not gonna get too much into any of that. Jalen’s health is of utmost importance to all of us in the building. I care deeply about Jalen. Like I said, not gonna get too much into that.”
Sirianni repeatedly said the team’s primary concern is for Hurts’ health as a person, and Sirianni did not address when Hurts will be back on the field.
“I love Jalen,” Sirianni said. “Just want him to be healthy.”
