Trump’s endorsement is a strategic move to consolidate support among Republican voters in a state he claims to have won by significant margins in past elections. The announcement, made via Trump’s social media platform, emphasizes his commitment to the Republican ticket, potentially influencing the dynamics of close races, particularly the gubernatorial contest.
