Selma Blair is "doing great" following a medical emergency that led to her airport arrest.
The 54-year-old actor was arrested at John F Kennedy International Airport in New York City on October 11 before being taken to a hospital following an alleged altercation with cabin crew members on a Delta flight from Los Angeles.
Her spokesperson later confirmed she had suffered a medical event relating to her multiple sclerosis.
Blair pleaded not guilty in a New York court to two charges of assault, and is free on bail until her next court date in January.
Sasha Farber - Selma's professional dance partner on Dancing with the Stars in 2022 - said he had been in touch with her following the incident.
"I have been talking to Selma. She's doing great and I'm thinking of her," he told People.
"We are family. She is literally my family."
In 2018, Blair said she had been diagnosed with MS, a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord.
Her spokesperson confirmed earlier in October that Selma "also has pseudobulbar affect, a neurological condition secondary to her MS, which bears directly on how a medical episode presents to people who do not know her".
"For the same reason, she travels with a service dog who doesn't leave her side, and the authorities took her dog from her."
The Hollywood star remains a "visible and relentless advocate for disability rights, for the MS community, and this year for the Jewish community in the face of rising anti-Semitism, including from the stage of the ADL's State of the Arts event at the Jewish Museum two weeks ago. Selma had never been arrested before Sunday night".
The spokesperson said there was "much more to this story than has been reported, and we ask to consider the entirety of the facts before rushing to judgement, whether in the courtroom or in the court of public opinion".
