NEW YORK – Hours after his suspension officially ended, San Francisco 49ersowner Jed York strolled into a midtown Manhattan hotel for the NFL’s fall league meeting.
York bypassed reporters and cameras assembled for the gathering. He was suspended six games and fined $500,000 following his arrest in Ohio on Aug. 23 during a prostitution sting.
York was found in a rental car outside of a mobile park with cash and officers confirmed his phone was the one used to set the meeting, which was coordinated by a police officer impersonating a sex worker. York had his charges reduced to disorderly conduct as part of a plea deal. York was sentenced to one day in jail for each charge, to be served concurrently, with one day of credit for time served, according to Columbiana County court records. He also paid two fines totaling $1,150.

The Niners went 6-0 in his absence and are one of three undefeated teams remaining this season.
York inherited the team from his mother, Denise DeBartolo York, whose brother Eddie operated the team during its dynasty in the late 20th century.
