This year, Winter City will feature themed zones inspired by beloved movies like Frozen, Toy Story and Home Alone
Winter City at Expo City Dubai is one of Dubai’s most magical festive experiences, and it’s returning bigger and better in 2026 as it joins forces with Disney+.
Running from December 11 until December 31, this year’s Winter City festive pop-up is created under the theme ‘Once upon a holiday’ and will feature zones and experiences inspired by some of the world’s most beloved family stories from across Disney, Pixar and Marvel Studios. Think the stories of Frozen, Toy Story and Home Alone all brought to life in a magical, snow-dusted Winter City way, with toys coming to life, princess meet-and-greets, and outdoor movie marathons of your favourite festive films.
Returning favourites
As well as new experiences through the Disney+ collaboration, this year’s Winter City will see the return of some much-loved favourites from the last four years.
Each day there will be snow falling beneath Al Wasl Dome paired with state-of-the-art projections, meet-and-greets with Santa and Mrs Claus in their festive grotto, and the letters to Santa experience, where little ones can share their festive wish lists with the main man himself, and post them off to the North Pole.
Once the hard work is done, stop by Mrs. Claus’ Bakery for something sweet and head into the snow.

Opening times and ticket prices
Winter City will open daily from 4pm to 10pm at Al Wasl Plaza in Expo City.
Tickets this year are Dhs60, while fast track tickets are Dhs175.
