Negotiating teams from the Prague branches of the Spolu coalition, comprising the Civic Democrats (ODS) and TOP 09, and the Mayors and Independents (STAN) will meet again on Thursday and Friday to discuss policy priorities.
Petr Hlaváček, Prague STAN leader and Prague’s likely next mayor, told reporters after the first meeting of the negotiating teams on Monday that the initial consultations had addressed whether the parties would form a coalition among themselves or invite another party to join them.
He said meetings would also take place with other potential partners, such as Praha Sobě and the Pirate Party, to map the ground for potential cooperation.
