After starting their season 0-4, the Houston Texans have now won each of their last two games.
The Texans picked up their first win of the season on Oct. 11 with a 26-3 victory over the Tennessee Titans. They then followed that up by defeating a very good Jacksonville Jaguars team 34-31 in Week 6. With this, the Texans are trending in the right direction as they prepare for their Week 7 game against the New York Giants.
Now, the Texans have announced some big news regarding wide receiver Tank Dell.
...
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans announced that Dell is set to return for the Texans for their game against the Giants.
This is huge news for Dell, as he has not played since December 2024. The 26-year-old wide receiver had been sidelined with a torn ACL, LCL, and MCL, and had also dislocated his knee. Yet, with this news, the 2023 third-round pick is finally ready to return.
Dell will now provide the Texans' offense with another very good wide receiver to work with. In 14 games during the 2024 season with the Texans, he posted three touchdowns, 51 receptions, and 667 receiving yards. This was after he had seven touchdowns, 47 receptions, and 709 receiving yards in 11 games with Houston as a rookie in 2023.
It will now be intriguing to see how much of an impact Dell can make for the Texans as they aim to get back into the playoff race.
