ISLAMABAD: The Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment (BEOE) provides information on thousands of foreign job opportunities through its official website and Facebook page.
Through this online portal, job seekers can check, verify, and search for overseas jobs offered by licensed recruiting agencies.
Under the Emigration Rules of 1979, the Protector of Emigrants grants recruitment permission to licensed agencies for a fixed duration.
This permission is issued only after the respective foreign employer’s job demands are verified by the Pakistani embassy in the host country, the foreign country’s ministry of foreign affairs, and that country’s embassy in Pakistan.
Every permission order carries a unique Permission Tracking Number (PTN), which must be explicitly mentioned in all job advertisements.
Once recruitment permission is granted, job details automatically appear on the BEOE website under its assigned PTN for the duration of the recruitment drive. Once all advertised positions are filled, the listing is automatically removed from the portal.
Full responsibility for recruited workers lies with the respective recruiting agency. Job seekers and workers can register complaints or grievances directly with the Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment or the relevant Protector of Emigrants.
