INDIANAPOLIS -- The Colts were booed repeatedly in Sunday's embarrassing 26-20 loss to the Tennessee Titans and neither coach Shane Steichen nor quarterback Daniel Jones had an issue with it.
"We've got to give them something to cheer about," Steichen said after his team blew a 13-0 halftime lead to the previously winless Titans on Sunday. "I don't blame them for booing one freaking bit."
Jones echoed his coach: "We didn't play well enough today. We've got to play better and give them something to cheer about. That's on us to play better."
There was also a brief "Fire Ball-ard" chant late in the game about, of course, general manager Chris Ballard, who is in his 10th season in charge of the organization.
