Michael Carrick has dismissed suggestions of a divided Manchester United dressing room and insisted his side are capable of turning their fortunes around.
United have endured another difficult spell, but Carrick remains adamant there is unity within the squad.
“It’s not divided, no,” the United boss said.
“We just need to get back to what we’re doing best and we will.”

Carrick was also asked about Bruno Fernandes but refused to reveal whether he has held talks with the United captain after comments he made questioning the team’s tactics in the defeat to Como.
“If I’ve spoken to him or haven’t spoken to him, I don’t think this is the time to go into too much detail,” he said.
Despite admitting recent results have hurt, Carrick says he is using that frustration as motivation to change United’s direction.
“It hurts an awful lot but it doesn’t stop me,” he said.
“That hurt is used as pure motivation and inspiration to want more, to expect more, to work for more, and to get us going in that different direction.
“It feels at times like it can be a long way away but it doesn’t take too much to flip the other way and we’re more than capable of doing that.
“I totally believe that. And we will win football matches.”
