KUALA LUMPUR: Efforts to strengthen the sense of nationhood, national identity and unity must be intensified, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He said this was particularly important among youths, who would shape the country's future.
"Efforts to strengthen understanding of nationhood, national identity and the spirit of togetherness must be intensified to build a strong nation rooted in shared history, values and aspirations," he said.
Anwar said this in a Facebook post after chairing the Dewan Kenegaraan Governance Board meeting to review the implementation and planning of programmes under the Akademi Kenegaraan Malaysia.
