In 2015, the Milwaukee Brewers offered fans a Timeless Ticket. For $1,000, the holder would be able to get a ticket to any single game at American Family Field (then Miller Park), of the best seats available. That was a good investment for the perpetual optimist, because I've seen the prices of World Series tickets, and $1,000 is a deal (my eldest paid $1,900 for two and got off easy).
But the key here is best seats available. Remember that, because this story is making me angry and putting a black cloud over what should be a wonderful time for the Milwaukee Brewers and their fan base. Two of these Timeless Ticket holders are accusing the Brewers of not honoring that deal.
Kevin and Kyle Deaton said they were only able to get seats in the terrace level or standing room only, which were priced for what the brothers paid for the tickets in 2015.

The tickets, according to the information card, "may be redeemed for the best available seat locations, subject to ticket availability at the time of redemption." The brothers argue the Brewers aren't living up to that language.
“When you promise somebody the best seat available, and you give them pretty much the worst seats that you have in the whole stadium, I would say, no. They're not honoring it," Kyle Deaton said.
The Timeless Ticket was offered more than a decade ago, when the Brewers sold 1,000 of them to fans for $1,000 each. Each ticket is redeemable for any game — including this World Series.
"We're actively looking at the sites, and it's kind of remarkable to watch the pricing go up and the kind of the mania, but 10 years ago or 11 years ago I was like I won't have to deal with that," Kevin said.
I would give anything to be able to attend a World Series game in person. But I can't afford it, and I didn't get the Timeless Ticket. I wouldn't care if I had to stand or sit in the terrace level; I'd be in the ballpark for history.

— Eric Lister (@ericlister) October 20, 2026I'm surprised there are any "available" at all...considering the Brewers are actually honoring this I think is a win for them.
Best available in a WS - I'm surprised they aren't standing room only honestly.
What if someone bought the "better" seats? Those people should get bumped?
The ‘Timeless Ticket’ debate is weird. They’re honoring it and getting people with those tickets, in the door. Did they think they’d be behind home plate? Good on the Brewers for honoring it. Let’s go win a World Series.

Apparently, things were different in 2018.
During the 2018 NLCS they did offer us best available and behind home plate if they had made the WS that year. They set precedent with that. This year, completely different process and treatment. Only Terrace or SRO offered before the public sale. Public sale had better tickets pic.twitter.com/VgX2UptM1s

But we didn't make the World Series that year, and if the Brewers have determined that the 400 level seats are best available, so be it.
I went to the Brewers website, and searched for four tickets. They were not available. SeatGeek shows several are available, but that's a resale site — not officially the Brewers. That means someone purchased those tickets and could, in theory, use them. The Brewers can't take those tickets back.
If the Brewers want to fix this, I won't object. But it sure seems like giving the team a black eye ahead of the biggest games of their lives is a bad move for fans.
