Director General National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, on Monday chaired a meeting with Director Operations Irfanullah Khan and Additional Director Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan to review ongoing operations against cybercrime, progress in investigations and legal action against suspects.
ISLAMABAD, Oct 12 (APP):Director General National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, on Monday chaired a meeting with Director Operations Irfanullah Khan and Additional Director Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan to review ongoing operations against cybercrime, progress in investigations and legal action against suspects.
An official said that the meeting discussed the performance of investigation teams, pending cases and measures to strengthen action against individuals involved in cybercrime.
The DG Rizvi directed officers to improve operational strategies, ensure evidence-based investigations and take effective legal action against suspects to bring cases to their logical conclusion.
He stressed the need for timely action on public complaints and better coordination among investigation teams to address problems faced by citizens.
Rizvi said officers should perform their duties with professionalism and responsibility while ensuring that investigations were conducted fairly and in accordance with the law.
He directed the concerned officers to closely monitor the progress of cases, avoid unnecessary delays and improve the handling of cybercrime complaints.
The DG Rizvi said effective investigations, prompt action on complaints and better services for citizens remained key priorities of NCCIA.
