vivo unveiled the S60 series in China in May this year, but a new leak claims that the company is already preparing its successor, the vivo S70. The leak also suggests that the phone will support a teleconverter.
Tipster Digital Chat Station revealed in a Weibo post that vivo’s latest S-series phone will feature a 64MP Sony LYT610 periscope telephoto camera with teleconverter support.

According to the tipster, the latest engineering sample of the vivo S70 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution. The phone is also said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8s series chipset, likely the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.
In a comment under the original post, the tipster added that vivo had tested a rear display on an early engineering sample of the S70. However, the company ultimately scrapped the idea.
The vivo S70 is rumored to launch next month.
