Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) and Joe Tate’s (Ned Porteous) plan to destroy the Miligans is underway in Emmerdale.
Joe recruited Sadie for his plot because he’s still hell-bent on ruining everything for Caleb and Ruby Miligan (William Ash and Beth Cordingly), certain they are the reason Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) is dead.
Yes, Joe buried Ruby alive and really said nah, it’s not enough!
In this evening’s episode, Sadie hid a camera in the Miligan household, hoping Ruby or Caleb would say something that she could use against them.
However, she began to wonder if the plot was going to end quicker than she thought when Ruby showed a reluctance to talk about her father, Anthony.
Sadie did her best to get Ruby to open up, but she refused to share why she no longer has a relationship with her father. Unbeknownst to Sadie, Ruby killed her dad in 2025 after telling everyone that he sexually abused her when she was a child.
Up Next
At Home Farm, Sadie told Joe about her suspicions regarding Anthony, and was curious when he told her to leave that part of Ruby’s life well alone.
You’ll remember that Joe knows Ruby killed her dad, and he helped keep quiet about the truth after Caleb discovered that Joe had stolen his kidney.
It’s just a twisted version of you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours, basically.
Unable to poke her nose in that direction, Sadie decided that she would seduce Caleb. After all, he’s got form for cheating on his wife.
As Sadie focuses on charming Caleb, there is a possible chance she could still discover what happened to Anthony.
If Ruby tells Caleb about Sadie wanting to know why she doesn’t speak to her dad, they could mention his murder.
And if Sadie happens to listen in via the hidden camera? Well, anything could happen.
If there’s one thing to take away from the developments tonight, it’s that the Miligans are most certainly in danger.
