A man was fatally shot at a pub in north London last night, sparking a murder probe by police who say their suspect could have been disguised.
Police have released a photo of a person who could be 'in disguise', and say they have not confirmed if they are 'a man or a woman'.
Emergency services were called to The Sun & Woolpack on Hertford Road at 9.30pm last night to reports of a shooting.
Paramedics and an air ambulance were deployed but a 35-year-old man with gunshot wounds was confirmed to have died at the scene.
His family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
No arrests have yet been made and a crime scene remains in place. The pub confirmed it will remain closed today.
The Met Police said CCTV inquiries have uncovered an image of a suspect which they have released to the public in an appeal for information.
Unusually, officers say that it is 'unclear at this early stage whether this was a man or woman, or if the person is wearing a disguise'.

The image shows a figure in a dark top and black gloves, pink trousers and trainers.
They are wearing a purple hat and appear to have long, curly ginger hair.
Detectives are asking anyone who recognises the person to come forward, as well as anyone in the area at the time or with any footage which could assist their investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo, who is leading the investigation, said: 'Our thoughts are with the victim's family and friends at this unimaginably difficult time as they begin to come to terms with this senseless act.
'We are releasing CCTV images of a person we would like to identify and speak to in connection with the investigation as our enquiries progress swiftly.
'We are also particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have CCTV, doorbell, dashcam or mobile phone footage that could assist our enquiries.
'Even information that may seem insignificant could prove crucial. No piece of information is too small, and I would urge anyone who believes they can help to contact police.'
Chief Superintendent Anna Mccartney, who leads policing in the area, said: 'We recognise the concern local people will have and can reassure them that our officers are working urgently to identify and trace those responsible.
'Serious violence has no place in our community, and the Met remains fully committed to tackling gun crime. We are determined to establish exactly what happened and provide much needed answers for those affected by this tragic incident.'
Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting CAD 7050/19OCT26, or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.
