This weekend has proven lucky for a pair of West Aussie punters who became instant millionaires thanks to the Saturday lotto draw.
The division one jackpot has changed the lives of four Australians, who each secured a bag of $1,523,797.81, with half the victors hailing from WA.
It breaks a Saturday dry spell for Sandgropers of a different variety, after seeing no West Aussie hit the top prize since October 3.
Another nine locals celebrated a handy division two prize of $13,255.65 and a further 166 will take home $1,035.05 of the division three prize pot.
The six prosperous numbers from draw #4723 were 32, 44, 40, 13, 18, 42, while the two supplementary’s were 37 and 27.
Luck has been in the Western Australian air recently after one punter a Set for Life jackpot — and they don’t even know yet.
The lucky division one-winning ticket was bought at Melville Newspower shortly before the blockbuster October 3 draw.
Angela Missackovski, the owner of the southern suburbs newsagency, said the mystery surrounding the winner had sparked excitement through the suburb.
“We love seeing big wins land in our community, and right now there’ll be a lot of people checking pockets, drawers, and gloveboxes hoping they’re holding the winning ticket,” she said.
