Delhi Police deny permission for Diljit Dosanjh’s October 30 concert at JLN Stadium

The Delhi Police have denied permission for singer Diljit Dosanjh’s scheduled concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN Stadium) in the capital on October 30, citing security concerns, the festive season, and law-and-order issues.

With police withholding clearance after a review of the organisers’ request, the Delhi leg of the singer’s Aura India Tour remains uncertain.

A letter reportedly issued by the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), South Delhi, and addressed to a ticketing platform cited threat-related inputs, the festive season and other law and order concerns as reasons for rejecting the request.
