The government has increased the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs1.91 per litre while keeping petrol price unchanged, effective for the next three days.
According to a press release issued by the Petroleum Division on Friday, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products under the federal government’s petroleum pricing mechanism.
Following the revision, the price of HSD has increased from Rs391.75 to Rs393.66 per litre, while petrol price remains unchanged at Rs377.71 per litre.

The revised prices will be effective from October 24 to 26, 2026.
OGRA said the change in prices was necessitated by global developments, including changes in Platts rates, premiums and incidentals.
The government on Thursday increased the price of high-speed diesel by Rs1.64 per litre and reduced petrol price by Rs1.60 per litre.
Globally, oil prices rose on Friday, with Brent crude touching a more than five-month high, after Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia stoked concern over further disruption to energy supplies from the Middle East.
Brent crude futures gained $1.40, or 1.2%, to $114.57 a barrel by 1138 GMT, having earlier reached $115 for the highest level since May 4. US West Texas Intermediate crude gained $1.48, or 1.5%, to $100.95.
The Brent benchmark is on track for a third consecutive weekly gain, of 4.2%, while WTI is poised to finish 0.5% down on the week.
