The Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, has advised patients, attendants and visitors to use public transport wherever possible as the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will undertake cement concrete (CC) road construction works on the hospital premises over the next three months.
“The works would be carried out in phases at several locations across the hospital, resulting in severe restrictions on parking facilities during the construction period,” the hospital said on Tuesday.
The locations where the works are scheduled to be taken up include the Panjagutta entry and exit gates, Millennium and Physiotherapy Block, dialysis waiting area, Wellness Centre and NPR Block, staff parking area near Union Bank, the approach road to the nursing hostel, doctors’ parking area in front of the Doctors’ Club, the road leading to the CSSD and General Stores, and the portico and common parking area.
