Pope Leo's recovery from lung surgery is progressing regularly, his doctors said in a statement released by the Vatican on Thursday.
Routine check-ups on the pontiff yielded normal results and a chest X-ray showed a good recovery of his operated lung, the doctors said.
They also said that Leo carried out daily activities independently and did physiotherapy with a full range of physical movements.
