Paradise Hotel Busan said on the 16th that it provided lodging and networking support for filmmakers from around the world at the 31st Busan International Film Festival. The hotel welcomed key invited guests and hosted the official after-party during the event.
Directors, actors and film industry figures from Korea and abroad attended the official after-party held at Paradise Hotel Busan on the 6th, the festival's opening day. The hotel also operated as a "Star House" accommodating major invited guests throughout the festival, which ran through the 15th.
This year's festival drew Academy Award-winning director Alfonso Cuaron, actresses Isabelle Huppert and Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Korean directors Lee Chang-dong, Na Hong-jin and Kim Jee-woon.
Paradise Hotel Busan has served as the festival's official headquarters hotel since the event launched in 1996. This year it also took on the same role for international events including the 2026 Korea International Streaming Festival and LIV Golf Korea 2026.
A Paradise Hotel Busan official said, "We will continue to fulfill our role as a global hospitality company representing Busan."
