Naomi Ackie was seen out and about all over New York City this weekend promoting her new horror film “Clayface.” The actress was not shy about showing off her love of Christian Louboutin footwear. She sported two different pairs of Louboutin shoes over the weekend: Rosalie sandals and Erozee pumps.
On Thursday, Ackie was seen strutting through midtown in a look that was a slight contrast to the mostly dark, brooding tones she’s been wearing lately to match the somber mood of “Clayface.” The starlet wore a powder blue Diamota Spring 2027 ensemble featuring a form-fitted, long-sleeved turtleneck top worn over a flowy maxi-shirt. The outfit’s light shade only accentuated the black pair of Rosalie sandals Ackie sported: a stiletto slingback sandal made unique by a snakey strap that curls around the toes in an intricate, sinuous pattern. Ackie paired the look with black toenail polish.
Later, for a photo call at the Empire State building alongside costar Tom Rhys, Ackie showed up wearing a slate gray and black Jean Paul Gaultier graphic maxi-dress paired with Erozee pumps. Made from patent calf leather, the pumps were simple yet stylish with buckle-fastened ankle straps and a pointed toe. Fitting with the gothic style associated with Ackie as of late, the shoes were glossy black save a flash of cherry red along the heel.
Ackie’s been on a fashionable press tour for quite some time while promoting “Clayface.” Wearing big name brands like Gucci and Issey Miyake, she’s been sporting a series of witchy outfits for the red carpet. She wore a black dress with serpent-style fabric and pointed slingback pumps for the London premiere. She also showed up in a black mini-dress with massive statement sleeves for another London screening of the film.
“Clayface” is a body horror psychological thriller based on the DC character of the same name. Ackie plays Dr. Caitlyn Corr, a scientist who helps turn actor Matt Hagen into the titular character. The film was released in theaters this Friday.
