The New England Patriots will play their second primetime game of the season on Thursday, taking on the Bears in Chicago. The contest projects as a marquee matchup headlined by quarterbacks Drake Maye and Caleb Williams.
Luckily for the teams and spectators alike, the weather will play its part as well: it won’t impact the contest.
According to NFL Weather, kickoff temperature will be 60°F with little wind and a negligible chance. of precipitation. Conditions will not change dramatically throughout the game. The National Weather Service, meanwhile, claims that Thursday night will be “mostly clear, with a low around 51” and a wind from east-northeast at around 5 mph.

Outside of the expected high-temperature game in Jacksonville, the Patriots have enjoyed some good luck as far as weather is concerned this season. Obviously, September and October are less likely to feature challenging conditions than the latter months of the NFL year, but conventional wisdom would suggest that fewer extremes still play in their hands as the favored team more weeks than not.
The Week 7 game between the Patriots and Bears is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22 at 8:15 p.m. ET.
