Osun state Governor, Ademola Adeleke, and his nephew, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, have come under fire on social media platform, X, over the governor’s support for the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The backlash is coming after declared that he would deliver Osun State for Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
It was also reported that the governor, who was included in the APC Presidential Campaign Council, has been appointed the coordinator of the City Boy Movement in Osun state.
This has prompted Nigerians to question the governor after he had declared, during the Osun gubernatorial election, that he would not allow the APC win in the state.
Davido is also facing backlash as several of his old tweets against the APC have resurfaced.
In one of the posts, which is being circulated online, Davido wrote, “Anybody supporting APC in Osun is an enemy of progress.”
