KUALA LUMPUR: Hoo Pang Ron-Lai Pei Jing's wait for a first mixed doubles title continued after they finished runners-up at the French Open on Sunday.
The world No. 31 lost to China's world No. 1 Feng Yan Zhe-Huang Dong Ping 21-10, 21-13 in the final at Arena Grand Paris.
It was another final disappointment against Yan Zhe-Dong Ping for Pang Ron-Pei Jing, as they had also lost to the Chinese pair in last month's China Masters final.
Despite the defeat, the independent pair completed a commendable European campaign with a runners-up finish in Paris following their semi-final appearance at last week's Denmark Open.
