A new leak has revealed details about a Realme phone that could share hardware with the upcoming OnePlus 16R. The device is reportedly being tested with a 200MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto camera. However, these specifications differ from an earlier report that suggested a triple 50MP rear camera setup.
According to the latest tipster, the phone will feature a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. It will not include an ultrawide camera. Interestingly, these details match earlier leaks about the OnePlus Ace 7, which has also been linked to a 200MP main camera and a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens.
The phone’s camera island is also said to resemble the one on the Realme 16 Pro+. Beyond the cameras, the device reportedly features a metal frame, a flat glass back, and a built-in cooling fan. A circular RGB light is also included, similar to the ring flash found on some vivo phones.
On the front, the phone is expected to feature a flat 1.5K OLED display. Its refresh rate can reportedly reach 185Hz in some games, while the system interface runs at 165Hz. A Snapdragon 8-series chipset will power the device. It can reportedly run BGMI at 120fps and Call of Duty at 165fps.
The battery is said to have a typical capacity of 8,700mAh. However, the tipster has not confirmed whether the device will launch as a Realme phone or the OnePlus 16R in India.
Since Realme and OnePlus both operate under Oppo, sharing hardware between the brands would not be surprising. For now, the conflicting camera reports leave the phone’s final specifications unclear. More leaks should help establish which camera setup the device will actually offer.
