Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) has signed an agreement with Sonali Bank PLC to provide a card payment gateway solution.
The signing ceremony took place at Sonali Bank's head office in Dhaka, according to the press release.
The partnership aims to expand digital payment services and offer customers secure, convenient and seamless payment experiences.
The two banks said the collaboration would contribute to the development of Bangladesh's digital banking ecosystem.
Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and CEO of MTB, and Khalid Hossin, chief digital officer, attended the ceremony.
Sonali Bank was represented by Md Shawkat Ali Khan, managing director, and Md Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director.
Other senior officials from both banks were also present.
