The blue carpet opened Thursday at Miami's James L. Knight Center as the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards got underway, with fashion sharing the spotlight before the night's performances and prizes.
Telemundo daytime stars like the hosts of La Mesa Caliente were among the first to arrive.
The evening's guest list brings together some of Latin entertainment's most recognizable divas, including Rosalía, Ivy Queen, Becky G and Lali. Rosalía is receiving the Billboard Hall of Fame Award, Ivy Queen is performing, and Becky G and Lali are among the presenters.
Carmen Villalobos, who is hosting with Javier Poza, also has a place in the evening's fashion conversation as the ceremony's co-host. Jacqueline Bracamontes, Ana Brenda Contreras and Andrea Meza are among the television personalities on the announced roster, adding to a gathering that extends beyond the music industry.
The divos have their own share of the spotlight. Manuel Turizo, Ozuna, Wisin, Carlos Rivera and Pablo Alborán are part of the performance lineup, alongside Cristian Castro, the recipient of this year's Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award.
Inside the venue, the ceremony will honor Rubén Blades with the Billboard Icon Award and Fuerza Regida with the Vanguard Award, alongside the recognitions for Rosalía and Castro. A tribute to Juan Gabriel will mark 10 years since the Mexican singer-songwriter's death.
Peso Pluma leads the competitive categories with 17 nominations, followed by Tito Double P with 15 and Fuerza Regida with 12. Karol G is the most nominated woman, with nine nods.
The ceremony airs at 8 p.m. Eastern on Telemundo and Peacock, following the televised blue carpet coverage.
