Alabama football defensive back Red Morgan has been disqualified from the Crimson Tide's game against Texas A&M.
Morgan, a junior, was ejected for targeting after leading with the crown of his helmet to the head of Aggies receiver Mario Craver, who was attempting a catch in the end zone. He left action at Bryant-Denny Stadium with three minutes to halftime as Alabama led 17-14 and was met on the sideline by the injured Ryan Coleman-Williams, who put his arm around Morgan for support.
Prior to his ejection, Morgan had one tackle. The Phenix City native had 25 on the year entering the Saturday, Oct. 24, matchup.
Morgan's disqualification for targeting marks a first for the Crimson Tide in the 2026 season. His suspension will only last for the duration of the Texas A&M game.
