INCHEON — As autumn deepens through October and November, Incheon is filling up with festivals and local travel programs. From waterside picnics in the city center to night tours of the historic open port district and film screenings for dog owners and their pets, here are the outings worth a weekend trip.
Wine Glasses and Flea Markets: An Autumn Picnic in the City
Outdoor festivals are lining up at waterfront parks and cultural complexes.
Hyundai Premium Outlet's Songdo branch is hosting "Incheon Sanghoe," a pop-up store for Incheon tourism businesses, from the 16th through the 18th. The space recreates the retro mood of 1883, when the port first opened, with actors performing street skits and photo zones set up for visitors. Goods from 14 local companies are on sale, including traditional liquor made from Ganghwa Island rice, specialty products from the islands of Baengnyeong and Deokjeok, and fragrance products inspired by local landmarks.
At Sangsang Platform in Incheon's Inner Port, the third edition of the Jemulpo Wave Market runs on the 17th and 18th. Built around Incheon's local brands, the family picnic market features interior goods, food booths and hands-on programs for families.
On the 24th, the "I♥FEsta Cheongna & Cheongna Festival" takes place around the outdoor music hall at Cheongna Lake Park. The picnic-themed event pairs live K-pop and K-OST performances with wine at the waterfront park, with Gummy, Lyn and Jo Sung-mo on the lineup. Other attractions include wine classes led by professional sommeliers, food pairings and an interactive drama poster experience built on artificial intelligence.

Movies With Your Dog, and Books for Donation
Indoor cultural programs are also drawing attention from those with more particular tastes.
On the 25th, Sangsang Platform's Wave Hall hosts "Sangple Cine-Meong," a film screening that visitors can attend with their dogs. Registration is required in advance. Along with the screening on a large screen, the event includes a pet etiquette campaign, a promotional booth for national service dogs and brief health consultations with veterinarians.
Those interested in design and art may want to look at "2026 Incheon Illust Korea," running from the 30th through November 1 at Songdo Convensia. About 200 companies across 250 booths are taking part, showcasing the latest trends in K-design, alongside a curated pavilion for Incheon artists and live drawing shows.
On November 1 and 7, Sangsang Platform continues "Sangple Book Cinema," a collaboration with the e-book service Millie's Library. Admission to the humanities program requires donating one used book on site. The program pairs screenings of independent and art films with book talks featuring invited creators.
Mobile Coupons for Night Walks Through the Open Port District
Walking tours offer a deeper look at the old downtown on cool autumn evenings.
Through November 8, the "2026 All Nights Wolmi & Open Port Pass" operates every Saturday and Sunday after 5 p.m. Using the smart tourism app "Incheon e-asy," visitors who check in at just one of 20 stamp courses receive a mobile discount coupon. The coupons can be used like cash, in amounts from 3,000 won to 5,000 won, at more than 120 food, beverage and activity venues across the open port area and Wolmido.
A second round of the "Traditional Market Mobile Stamp Tour," linking eight traditional markets including Ganghwa Pungmul Market, Gyeyangsan Traditional Market and Soraepogu Fish Market, runs through November 15. Those who complete the course receive a 5,000-won discount voucher, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visitors curious about the hidden stories of Incheon's back alleys can join "Incheon Original Tour," which runs through late November. Participants walk through the open port district, Baedari and the alleys of Bupyeong with experts including Kim Joong-mi, author of "The Children of Gwangibulmal," along with archaeologists and architects, hearing accounts of the city's modern architecture and its long-standing old shops. Program details and advance reservations are available on the official website.
