CYF advises members against joining NYM gathering

Kohima, October 25 (MExN): The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) has advised its members against participating in the proposed public gathering convened by the Naga Youth Movement (NYM) at Lok Bhavan on October 28, under the banner or representation of the CYF or any of its constituent units.In an advisory, CYF stated that no member or unit should participate in or represent the organisation at the gathering in an official capacity. It urged members to exercise discretion and maintain organisational discipline in matters concerning the organisation.The advisory stated that it was issued to ensure that the CYF and its constituent units act in accordance with “the decisions and mandate of the Chakhesang public.” The advisory was signed by CYF president Kevesa Khamo and vice president Vetho Vadeo.
