KOTA KINABALU: The verdict in the inquest into the death of Zara Qairina Mahathir is expected to be delivered on Jan 15 next year.
Coroner Amir Shah Amir Hassan fixed the date after discussions with all parties.
He also set Dec 15 as the deadline for parties to file their written submissions.
The proceedings concluded on Wednesday after 96 days of hearings.
The inquest began on Sept 3, 2025, slightly more than a year ago.
