Operation Steal Caleb Miligan (William Ash) got underway for Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) in Emmerdale tonight – but things failed miserably for her.
As part of her and Joe Tate’s (Ned Porteous) plan to destroy the Miligans, Sadie decided that she would seduce Caleb and ruin Ruby Miligan’s (Beth Cordingly) life.
Now living with the couple, Sadie spied her opportunity today when Ruby headed out to the pub, leaving Caleb in front of the TV and Sadie beside her laptop.
After asking Caleb about his time in care, Sadie managed to connect with him when she revealed that she was also in the system as a child.

Caleb invited Sadie to sit down. They chatted, and Caleb was beginning to wonder if he was seeing the side to Sadie that Ruby claims she sees all the time.
But, unbeknownst to Caleb, this was all part of Sadie’s plan. With the hidden camera recording, she was trying her best to get Caleb to feel sorry for her and make a move – but things went terribly wrong.
As soon as Sadie put her hand on Caleb’s leg, he realised what she was doing. He jumped from the sofa and confronted her.
Sadie immediately started crying, claiming that the gesture was just her being friendly. The tears worked in Sadie’s favour, as Caleb felt awful and simply reiterated that nothing like that can happen again.
However, tonight’s move definitely won’t be enough for Sadie to stop with her plot.
Will she try and seduce Caleb again?
Or try a different tactic?
Emmerdale producer Sophie Roper said: ‘Sadie King is a force to be reckoned with, but Caleb and Ruby are one of Emmerdale’s most powerful couples, they have been through so much together and have only got stronger.
‘Joe recruiting Sadie does, however, create a dangerous dynamic, and viewers will hopefully be shouting at their screens to warn Caleb of the dangers that lie ahead.’
