OXFORD, N.S. – Nova Scotia RCMP are investigating the death of 51-year-old man who died following a suspicious electrocution in the northern part of the province.
Police say the man sustained injuries from an electrocution on July 29, and officers responded to a report of an injured man at a commercial property in the 3,000-block of Highway 321 in Oxford, N.S.
RCMP say the electrocution was not a workplace incident, and criminality is believed to be a factor.
Investigators say they are aware that other people were present when the man was electrocuted, and they want to speak with those who were there.
Police are also asking for dashcam or surveillance video from the area between July 29 and Aug. 3.
The 51-year-old man died in hospital on Oct. 5 died as a result of his injuries from the electrocution.
RCMP did not immediately respond to questions.
