Tampa Bay Rays All-Star third baseman Junior Caminero collided with outfielder Jonny DeLuca chasing an eighth-inning pop fly and stayed on the ground for several minutes during the top of the ninth inning of Game 1 of their American League Championship Series.
Caminero and DeLuca were chasing a pop from Brayan Rocchio near the Guardians' bullpen in play down the left field line. Both missed the ball but DeLuca, in full sprint, barreled into Caminero's chest.
After a brief examination from a trainer, Caminero remained in the game.
