Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic will evaluate a new GE HealthCare SPECT/CT imaging system designed to support theranostics.
Mayo Clinic is one of five institutions worldwide participating in GE HealthCare’s clinical evaluation program for the StarGuide GX system, according to an Oct. 20 news release from the company.
Mayo Clinic will assess the system’s quantitative and dynamic imaging capabilities. The other participants are Hadassah Medical Center and Rambam Health Care Campus in Israel, Oncopole Claudius Regaud Institut Universitaire du Cancer de Toulouse in France and Peking University First Hospital in China.
The StarGuide GX system was cleared for sale in some European Union countries in 2025 but has not yet received FDA clearance.
