Sofia has topped the Best City Break in Europe 2027 ranking by European Best Destinations. More than 11,000 people voted for 64 European destinations, selected by independent travel journalists.
Over the next 12 months, European Best Destinations will promote Sofia internationally as a leading city break destination, including through media partners such as Forbes International. The campaign offers the capital an opportunity to reach travellers seeking new European destinations and generate interest in local businesses, cultural events and tourism services.
European Best Destinations has been promoting European destinations since 2009 and works with more than 500 tourist destinations and international media outlets, BTA reported.
