Juventus completed a remarkable comeback to beat Celta Vigo on Spanish soil with Nick Woltemade and Randal Kolo Muani, keeping a perfect Europa League record.
The Bianconeri were top of the Europa League table after a 5-0 hammering of NEC, but their Serie A form was disappointing with a 1-1 draw at Cagliari. Their injury crisis continued with Kenan Yildiz, Jeremie Boga, Khephren Thuram, Manuel Locatelli, Jeff Ekhator, Kamil Grabara and Arek Milik out of action. Celta Vigo lost their opener to Omonia Nicosia, missing Borja Iglesias, Pablo Duran, Jones El-Abdellaoui, Carl Starfelt and Miguel Roman.
The last time these sides met was an extraordinary 4-0 Celta Vigo home victory in March 2000 for the UEFA Cup Round of 16, overturning a 1-0 first leg defeat, with both Antonio Conte and Paolo Montero sent off in the first half.
See how it all unfolded on the Liveblog.
An early Willot Swedberg header was straight at Guglielmo Vicario, and Celta broke the deadlock with a well-worked team goal, passing right to left and finished off by Swedberg laying it off for Hugo Alvarez to tap in at the back post.
A Teun Koopmeiners header was straight at the goalkeeper, then the Dutchman failed to control a Pierre Kalulu pull-back from 10 yards. Koopmeiners also accidentally got in the way of a Kerim Alajbegovic strike, then Nick Woltemade blasted over after letting a long ball bounce in the box.
Woltemade saw his effort charged down at the near post straight after the restart, then Radu flew to push the Francisco Conceicao strike over the bar. On the resulting corner, the Portugal international fired another attempt straight at him.

Juventus finally got their equaliser when the Koopmeiners cross from the left was clumsily chested down by Marcos Alonso, turning into an ideal assist for Woltemade to sweep in from 12 yards.
Celta threatened on the counter-attack, Rueda only hitting the side-netting from the Jutgla slide-rule pass, then Pierre Kalulu getting back to block Jutgla.

Pape Malang Sarr failed to make the most of another poor Marcos Alonso clearance, but Nico Gonzalez had a great chance when he twisted and turned in the box to commit defenders, bending the left-foot finish inches wide.
Juventus turned the game around in added time, with Andrea Cambiaso whipping in a cross from the left that saw Randal Kolo Muani get between defenders to nod in at the back post from point-blank range.
