Man goes missing overnight, car found at rural ACT campground

A 24-year-old man has been reported missing after police found his car at a campground in rural Canberra.

Jordan Linning was last seen in Conder on the evening of Tuesday, October 13, an ACT Policing statement said.

He was seen filling up his silver Mitsubishi Lancer with petrol about 7pm. The hatchback vehicle had Queensland number plates 728QZ3.

Police officers found Jordan's vehicle at the Cotter Campground on the morning of Wednesday, October 14, but did not see any sign of the 24-year-old.

Jordan has been described as Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm (5'11") tall, with a slim build and short dark hair.

"Police and Jordan's family hold concerns for his welfare, and are requesting the public's assistance to locate him," the police statement said.

Anyone who may have seen him in or around the Cotter Campground area since Tuesday night has been urged to contact police on 131 444 quoting reference number 8527074.
