Boston has played a firm role in the team’s solid start to the campaign. His efforts have created a case for him to be a contender for Rookie of the Year. He talked about his thoughts on those discussions while discussing with media on Thursday, per reporter Camryn Justice. While he is happy to be in those conversations, it is not the top priority on his mind.

“Definitely in the back of any rookie’s mind, I think, that’s the big thing is try to win a Rookie of the Year award. But that’s not my main focus. My main focus is trying to bring wins to this team and do whatever I can to contribute to bring wins to this team and this program. So it’s cool. It’s definitely a cool thing, but my main focus is in this building with my guys trying to get wins to go,” Boston said.
