Magdalena Andersson is our most likely candidate for prime minister, but there needs to be consensus on which policies to implement, says Centre Party leader Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist in an interview on TV4 Nyhetsmorgon.
Previously, the Left Party and the Green Party also announced that they would vote against Andersson and the purely Social Democratic government that will be put to a vote on Thursday.
We will do that, and more parties certainly will too. There is no drama in that, deputy party leader Ida Gabrielsson (V) told SVT.
The Green Party's Janine Alm Ericson has said that the party will do the same.
At noon, the Riksdag (the Swedish parliament) will vote on whether to appoint Social Democratic leader Andersson as prime minister. She has said that she expects to lose the vote, since her attempts to form a government on the left have failed so far.
