It's almost time to return to the messy word of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives - but this time, we're swapping Utah for the sunny streets of California in our Orange County spin-off.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County is set to air on Disney+ and Hulu next month, offering a new foray into the ever-messy world of Mormon Wives. An official synopsis reads, 'A new group of dynamic young mothers in Orange County collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion; they are their identity. While some defend their way of life, fighting against modernity, others embrace change, becoming a platform to disrupt the status quo. Scandals and secrets will be revealed, facades will crumble, and families and friendships will change forever on both sides of the battlefield as this group of strong, game-changing influencers comes together to build their answer to MomTok.'
Our brand-new cast features the sister of a fan favourite SLOMW star, some famous influencers, and a last minute addition following some casting drama. Plus, our OC ladies will be headed up by none other than SLOMW OG, Jen Affleck.
Who is starring in the cast of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County? Let's meet the cast.
Why isn't Chandler Higginson in SLOMW: OC?
While Chandler Higginson was originally named as one of the SLOMW: OC members, she was an absent face in recent promo - having been replaced with Jordan McClanahan.
After a fan account on Instagram pointed out the apparent cast swap, Chandler’s husband, Dylan Higginson, commented, ‘There is ALOT to be said, we will share soon.’ As for Chandler herself, her Instagram bio now reads ‘@secretlivesonhulu??? ’ (as well as mentioning the Mormon Church.)
Now, reports did mention that Chandler was seen with the group while filming some scenes earlier this Spring. Will she appear at all? Has she been cut completely? We’ll have to wait to see what went down here…
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County premieres November 12th on Disney+ and Hulu
