Jason Kelce’s fan event interaction with a Kansas City Chiefs supporter had some Caitlin Clark influence, with the official podcast page shouting out the Indiana Fever star.
One interesting thing about Caitlin Clark is her Kansas City Chiefs fandom. The WNBA superstar is from Iowa, but grew up only a few hours away from Arrowhead Stadium, and has spoken in the past about how she has loved the team since she was young.
She recently attended their win against the LA Chargers, where she was spotted alongside Taylor Swift. Meanwhile, Swift’s brother-in-law, Jason Kelce, was at a fan event with some Chiefs fans, where he found a brilliant reason to give the Fever guard a shoutout.
Jason Kelce was hyped after one Chiefs fan’s epic ‘Caitlin Clark range’ basketball shot
Since he retired from the NFL, Jason has been doing a lot of work in the media. The New Heights podcast is the primary example of this, he has also been working as a broadcaster and analyst at times for the actual games.
Recently, Kelce was playing a game of basketball with some Chiefs fans at an event, with the official podcast account sharing a video of one amazing moment.
Jason was handing out basketballs to fans in the crowd and asking them to make a shot. One fan attempted a very long jumper, with Kelce commentating on it saying, “Here it comes, all the way from New York City…” just as the fan buried the shot. Needless to say, the former Eagles man was hyped.
“From Caitlin Clark range,” read the caption of the video shared by New Heights on X, tagging the superstar in the process. The three-time All-Star is known for her incredible three-point shooting ability, so this compliment was very warranted.
Even though the 24-year-old is not in the WNBA Finals this year, she seems to be out and about enjoying the NFL season. So is Jason Kelce, albeit in a much more hands-on manner!
