Madonna has shared a sweet tribute to her eldest daughter Lourdes to celebrate her 30th birthday.
The singer, 68, gushed about her 'biblical connection' with Lourdes as she recalled her dramatic, 18-hour birth.
Born on October 14, 1996, Lourdes' dad is Carlos Leon, who Madonna was in a relationship with during the 1990s before they separated less than a year after their daughter was born.
Recalling the birth of her eldest child, the superstar shared a sweet caption alongside childhood photos of Lourdes in her Wednesday tribute.
'Happy Birthday My Lolita! You came to me in a Dream. A fever dream. A Dream called Life. If I tried to write it all down, I would cry a river of tears,' Madonna wrote.
'Your chin was tilted up in my birth canal, you were looking for the stars you were stuck. After 18 hours of labor and your heartbeat slowing down, an emergency C-section was the only option.'

'Did I mention the helicopters and news crews swirling above our heads on the top floor of the hospital in East LA?'
'You’re birth was dramatic. Like our lives. Our connection - it is Biblical. When I ask God to explain it to me He tells me- Look in the mirror!'
She continued: 'We are Two sides of the same coin. If what we risk reveals what we value then I would risk it all on you.'
'Never forget who you are - Little Star, shining brighter than all the stars in the sky. Never forget how to Dream Butterfly. Never forget where you come from. From Love.'
Carlos also shared a tribute to Lourdes on Wednesday, posting a slideshow of photos set to the Stevie Wonder song Happy Birthday.
Madonna is also mum to Rocco Ritchie, 26, David Banda, 20, Mercy James, 20 and twins Stella and Estere, 14.
Lourdes has been making her mark in the music industry since the release of her first single Lock&Key in 2022.
She has also previously modelled for the likes of Burberry, Marc Jacobs, Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty, Mugler, Calvin Klein, and Marine Serre.

The upcoming singer, who goes by the stage name of Lolahol for her musical endeavours, attended the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance from 2014 to 2018.
In August 2022, she started releasing music under her moniker Lolahol.
Madonna meanwhile has been keeping a low profile since her disastrous return to the VMAs stage last month after 23 years.
The comeback, in which she opened the show with a medley of songs from her album Confessions II, has been met with criticism as well as fears for her health.
The prolific hitmaker, who won seven Moonman trophies, was joined on stage by Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX, but her jerky movements and alleged lip-syncing left fans disappointed.
Social media users theorized that she seemed 'out of breath' during the 'mess' of a performance and had a pained look as a group of backup dancers hauled her onto a moving platform.
Even her victory speeches proved embarrassing. During one speech, she fumbled a joke about removing a prop laser from her 'a**', before clinging to presenters Charli XCX and Troye Sivan. While accepting the same award, the pop icon alarmingly forgot which of her videos was being honored.

In the wake of the ceremony, the Daily Mail exclusively revealed that her family reacted to her chaotic performance by staging an intervention.
Madonna had not performed at the VMAs since 2003, when she set off a media firestorm by kissing both Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
Sunday's appearance took place three years after she had to postpone the North American leg of her Celebration Tour because of a sudden health downturn.
She was confined to the ICU for several days after contracting what her manager announced at the time was a 'serious bacterial infection'.
In the days following her hospitalization, a family member informed the Daily Mail that Madonna's loved ones were 'preparing for the worst'.
She also disclosed that she required the use of a ventilator and spent 48 hours in an 'induced coma', in an interview with self-help influencer Jay Shetty.
Sepsis takes effect when the body reacts to an infection by releasing chemicals that can result in serious organ malfunction, sometimes with fatal consequences.
When she mounted her return to the stage in 2023, Madonna told the live audience that she had suffered a 'near-death' experience.
'I'm pretty sure that was God saying to me: "Do you want to come? Want to come up with me?"' said Madonna, whose answer to the question was: 'No!'
